For the citizen. Against silence.
Bharat Pulse is an independent Indian news platform. No party. No paymaster. No advertising. Country before party. We aggregate ~110 newsrooms across 12 Indian languages, classify every story by its civic function (not by mood), open the verdict to public vote, publish our own opinion under a named editorial persona, and put the traffic dashboard in public view.
The covenant — what we owe the reader
- The Constitution comes first. Article 19(1)(a) gives the press its freedom; we use it for the citizen, never for the powerful. Same rulebook for every government, every party, every state, every faith.
- Aggregate and attribute. Every headline links to its original publisher. We add reach, we never rewrite their words.
- No money from anyone with a stake in the news. No party funds, no government grants, no advertising, no sponsored placement, no PR placements. Operating costs are paid out of pocket.
- The metros are not the nation. Regional Spotlight rotates under-covered states. Vernacular newsrooms get equal placement, not a separate ghetto.
- Dignity = access. The site is fast, light, accessible, and free. It loads on a slow line and an old phone. No paywall, ever.
- If we are wrong, we say so. Corrections go on this page and on the affected story. Detailed editorial discipline is at How we work.
The receipts we publish
- Live traffic dashboard (no cookies, no IPs, no third-party trackers): /visitors — every page view, every country, every device.
- Every editorial take we have ever published, with the story it responds to and a timestamp: /desk · RSS.
- The Daily Brief, with archive: /brief.
- Every story carries its source count, language count, and publisher attribution — no anonymous sourcing in the aggregator.
- Built and maintained by TechWave Academy — a small Indian software/AI shop. News is one of its products.
What we will never do
- Take money from a political party, a government scheme, or a candidate.
- Run an advertisement, a sponsored post, or a "branded content" placement.
- Use slurs, communal language, or anything that vilifies a religion, caste, region, or gender.
- Endorse, attack, or recommend votes for any political party or candidate.
- Sell, lease, or share reader data. We don't track readers individually.
- Treat any government as default-good or default-bad. Acts of state force default to "State Action" — citizens and courts decide legitimacy.
What you can do (the reader is not an audience)
- Vote on every story — your verdict is public, weighted, and on the record.
- Submit a story from the ground via the Citizen Desk.
- File RTIs, write to your MP / MLA, attend court hearings on stories you read here.
- Share with citation — when you forward a headline, link the source and the source count.
- Tell us when we are wrong. We will say so on the same page.
Satyameva Jayate — truth alone triumphs, but only if we work for it.
